On the 13th September, BPT hosted this year’s edition of the Portas 5aside football fundraiser. Organisations from across the sports industry came together to support both BPT and the Bloomsbury Football Foundation.
Portas have now been running this event for four years, and this time round we had 12 teams competing from a range of organisations. Portas came out as eventual winners, beating Bloomsbury Football in a thrilling final! The tournament was played in great spirits and exactly £1k was raised for the raffle held on the day!
A huge thank you to Portas for putting the whole event together again for us, alongside all the organisations who took part to raise such a generous donation for BPT and Bloomsbury Football Foundation. Fundraising events like these are hugely important to sustain and improve our community programmes, and the money raised will make a significant difference to our participants in the local community. We look forward to the fifth instalment of the tournament next year!
