JOB SPECIFICATION
To Lead or Manage
- Building Lambeth wide partnerships for BPT
- Develop BPT Schools Strategy
- Selected Team Lambeth entries in the London Youth Games through supporting the Lambeth appointed Borough Team Organiser with communications, entries, trials and training schedules etc.
- To lead on facilitating relationships between third-party providers and schools to establish physical activity and sport-based sessions in local schools both in and out of school hours.
- Lead on gathering and reporting agreed KPI’s
- To deliver all of the above within agreed budgets.
- To consider strategic ways to market and promote borough-wide opportunities to Lambeth residents and propose costed campaigns.
To Assist or Work With
- BPT’s Football, Basketball and Community Officers to support development of their programmes at BPT hub
- Lambeth and SGOs in delivering the Lambeth Schools Primary and Secondary School Competitions, specifically Cross Country, Athletics with a view to leading on various events throughout the year
- Lambeth Council Borough Team Organiser to co-ordinate the entry process, team trials and training, marketing and promotion for the London Youth Games and to attend competitions in person.
- Team Lambeth’s entry and participation to the annual Mini Marathon. Alongside attending the competition and managing a team.
- Lambeth Council with the coordination of the local events and Festivals such as the Active Lambeth Awards.
- Support in the recruitment process of sports volunteers, with the intention to lead. recruitment and BPT Safeguarding processes.
- To be an active participant in supporting BPT and Lambeth to achieve its goals within borough for physical activity and sport.
- To assist with information gathering for funding applications and impact reports.
- To assist in liaising with key stake holders within the local community.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that contribute to the overall function of the team and achieving wider borough goals related to physical activity and sport.
- To apply a flexible approach to working in different environments including from home, community venues and offices.
- To travel inside or outside the borough when required.
