Football is one of the key sports here at BPT, benefitting from our Partnership with Powerleague who manage our football facilities.
Community programmes are designed to deliver positive outcomes in line with BPT’s Social Outcomes; and we aim to be inclusive and provide opportunities for different groups within our community.
In the heart of Lambeth football is an inclusive sport with high participation levels. We provide a number of youth football programmes on weekday evenings which includes girls’ only provision and mentoring through football for young people. As part of our sire-wide Seniors programme, we also deliver Walking Football to continue to provide opportunities for people to enjoy football in an accessible way later in life.
At BPT, football isn’t just about playing but socialising, meeting new people, mentoring and providing positive physical activity to promote healthy lifestyles and positive mental health and wellbeing.
Working with partners such as Quadrant Performance Academy (QPA), Sports Fun4All, Girls United and Street Soccer London we aim to provide a diverse offer.
We are always looking for opportunities to work with new partners and organisations to grow our offer whilst looking for new corporate and charitable funding opportunities to expand on our programme and embrace new areas that can provide for our community including but not limited to disability; open football sessions; women and girls; refugees, mental health; and education and training.
