2nd May 2025
Our Easter programme this year was once again funding and supported by Lambeth Council with a successful HAF (Holiday, Activity and Food Programme) bid. The sessions ran by our partners QPA and our own basketball coaches saw fun and engaging sports and physical activity across the 9 days of the holidays.
Once again our onsite partners Food Providers Share Community cooked up a storm ensuring our young people were fed across 6 of those days, with our own Beverly de Valmency ensured our young people were nourished across the other days. Lambeth council supported with fresh fruit and snacks on both weeks with our partners from the Felix Project supporting with extra treats. Young people left on the final day with a bag full of health and fun snacks.
‘Our camps are at a stage now where young people from all across Lambeth make the journey. We have top quality delivery partners and coaches and we have a great team supporting us here at BPT. Our camps provide a safe and nourishing environment for young people to be active, create friendships and get a hot meal. Since I started at BPT it has been a pleasure of mine to organise and promote these camps, offering free food as well as activity. We will strive to continue to deliver this across all holidays and half terms, working with partners and donators to continue to keep this possible!’ – Kaity Hall Programmes and Partnerships Manager, BPT
Over the week we saw 78 individual young people through our doors with 399 attendances.
