A Week of Sport, Fun and Free Meals at BPT This May Half Term

9th June 2025

The Black Prince Trust once again delivered a fun-filled and impactful May Half Term Holiday Programme, continuing our mission to provide free activities and meals for young people during school breaks.

Thanks to the generous support from CLS Holdings, whose charitable donation and volunteer engagement helped make the week possible, we were able to welcome children from across the community for a week of inclusive, active and nourishing opportunities.

Each morning began with energetic multi-sports sessions led by the expert coaches at Quadrant Performance Academy (QPA), encouraging teamwork, fitness and fun. Afternoons saw a split between fast-paced football games, also run by QPA, and engaging basketball sessions with our very own BPT coaches, Yvette and Jayson, who brought energy and passion to every session.

In keeping with our commitment to community wellbeing, Share Community—our trusted on-site catering partner—provided nutritious, free lunches every day. With support from BPT, we ensured that every child received a healthy, balanced meal, helping them stay energised and ready to take part.

Alongside the holiday camp, BPT continued to run a range of our weekly community sessions, providing inclusive access to sport, health and wellbeing activities. In total, we engaged nearly 60 young people over the week, while also continuing to serve the wider local community.

At the Black Prince Trust, we remain proud to serve as a hub for health, activity, and opportunity—bringing people together through sport and shared experiences.
