On the 14th February 2024 Street Soccer London hosted a tournament at the Black Prince Trust. Three organisations brought two/three teams down and played a tournament against each team. These organisations included Street Soccer London, Fast and Marcus Lipton.
Marcus Lipton Youth were big winners on the day but the biggest success story was the spirit in which the competition was played and the enjoyment had by all.
Street Soccer London stated “there was a great turnout with great quality football displayed. There were a lot of participants engaging with each other from the different organisations.”
BPT said “overall the tournament was a success with over 20 kids playing, we also witnessed some great talent which was great to watch. It was also great to see three different organisations working together to form this tournament.”
Street Soccer London and all other organisations aim to make these tournaments happen every quarter, with the aim revolving around finding organisations and participants from different areas to play football and socialise with other people that are of similar age.
